The role of the Sales Manager at Paynovate is to lead the sales team and to design plans to meet sales targets, developing and cultivating relationships with partners and clients and evaluating costs to determine their products’ pricing when selling to customers. The Sales Manager works hands-on with various departments on the sales processes, budgeting and marketing strategies to ensure the company can achieve its goals.

💪 Responsibilities

• Study industry trends and create an effective business plan based on commercial opportunities.

• Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with our distribution partners and direct customers while working with them to better understand their business objectives and needs.
• Create and execute commercial plans aimed at accelerating growth.

• Create and communicate sales goals and ensure C-level executives are informed on the progress of those goals.

• Promote cross-functional collaboration towards a better strategic alignment

Key Business Processes

• Work with the commercial team with the goal of improving the account management and key metrics.

• Work with operations to ensure excellence in delivery and win in the market place.

• Work with the marketing team to create strategies that boost the company and product awareness.

• Work with the legal team to ensure compliance and proper client onboarding.

• Work with the product team to build a competitive product roadmap and optimal customer experience.

• Work with the support team to maximize customer satisfaction, increase loyalty, and create new conversions.

• Heavily involved in the motivation, drive and development of new talent within the organization.

Key deliverables

•Work closely with the sales team each day, providing hands-on training and assistance as needed to build a strong sales team

• Establish relevant business KPIs for the company to track. Make suggestions for corrective action if sales are below the budget.

• Effectively communicate value propositions through presentations and proposals.

• Develop partnerships with key stakeholders aimed at accelerating the company’s growth.

• Our ideal candidate will have a Master degree

• Relevant industry experience in banking or fintech (5-7 years)

• Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills

• Tech-savviness and comfort with data and analytical tools

• Proven ability to drive the sales process from start to finish

• Knowledge of how to develop client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions

• Bilingual Dutch/French and strength command of English.
